The two combined Dunstan High School and Cromwell teams attended the SISS tournament at the Dunedin Ice Hockey Stadium.

The games were full of success stories, great team effort and amazing learnings that all players will use in their future hockey career and life skills.

The Dunstan/Cromwell Black Team finished in seventh this year. However, this team full of first year students will certainly be one to watch if they stay together as a team.

The Dunstan/Cromwell Devils Team finished in fifth this year. An early start on day one led to a loss. However, as the tournament continued their performances improved. More goals and great goaltending lead to a close 2:1 loss to Burnside and a 5:2 loss to Wakatipu in their final pool game.

Overall the week was great and players are already talking about next year.

Thank you to Andrea Murphy, Steve Phipps, Selena Templer and Kerry Moir for helping their fantastic coach and organiser Trevor Lawrence
