We’re excited to let you know that our next Repair Care Café is just around the corner! This Saturday May 3rd 10am – 2pm at Alexandra Community House. 🛠️ Repair Care Café – Community Event

This is a fantastic opportunity for people across our community to bring along broken or worn items and get friendly support to fix, repair, upcycle, or problem-solve them — rather than throwing them away.

We’ll have skilled volunteers helping with:

• Sewing and mending clothing
• Bike maintenance including eBikes
• Small appliance and electrical repairs (by qualified volunteers)
• Building fixes and DIY advice
• Sports gear repairs (pumping up balls etc.)
• Jewellery fixes
• Tech help for digital devices (laptops, tablets, phones…)
• Knife and tool sharpening  (please bring paper to wrap after they are sharpened)
• Wool mending and knitting

Sport Central will also be joining us with their Share Your Gear initiative – bring along any good quality sports gear you'd like to donate, or come and find something to help you and your whānau get active.
