We are looking for people to help with volunteering during our race season which runs from September to the end of April.
There are a variety of roles available from driving tow trucks and push trucks, to firefighters, gate entry right to delivering food to the other volunteers during the night. Full training will be given, and obviously some of the roles (eg driving push trucks etc) needs some experience in a related field.
We are looking for multiple volunteers for each role, so then we can rotate people so people get a break. The perks of volunteering is that you get to dip your toes into a local motor racing club, expand your experiences, free food for dinner and watch some really exciting racing. We will also give each volunteer an entry voucher to be used at a race meeting where they aren't working.
As a club, we would like to work with the local schools, to try to get more young people involved in the sport at all levels, whether it be volunteering or driving. Perhaps someone volunteers this year and then buys a car for next year.
