The Community Oral Health Service provides free routine dental care from birth until the end of School Year 8 across the Southern Region. From Year 9 onwards until they turn 18.
Students continue to receive free dental care from a participating Dental Provider in their local area (regardless of whether they remain at school or not). Good oral health is a foundation of overall good health and wellbeing, but for many reasons, some students may not be enrolled with a Dental Provider after their transition into Year 9.
