Get ready for another year of fun, adventure, and discovery! Come explore some of Central Otago’s most iconic vistas while supporting a great cause — this year’s event is a fundraiser for both Journeys and the Central Otago Orienteers.
Suitable for all levels ( both 3 and 6 hour options).
• Date: Sunday, 16th August 2026
• Location: A brand-new map called Sugar Loaf, located just 15 minutes from Alexandra just off Fraser Dam Road.
• We’re leveling up the adventure this year with brand-new lengths to give you even more flexibility! Choose between the 3-hour or 6-hour course.
Note: These are just the maximum time limits — you can absolutely choose to head back to base earlier whenever your team is ready!
• Teams: 2–5 people per team.
Plus, there’ll be loads of spot prizes, a delicious bake sale, and a BBQ sizzling with local favourites to keep you fuelled and smiling throughout the day. Please bring cash for the BBQ and bake sale to help support our fundraising efforts!
All ages and skill levels welcome!
Whether you're a seasoned rogainer or a first-timer, this is a great opportunity to get outdoors, challenge yourself, and support two fantastic local groups doing great work in our community.
