Last Friday the Service Committee held a mufti day and sausage sizzle to raise money to go to The Red Cross, to support the flood relief in the North Island. The damage that occurred due to Cyclone Gabrielle is immense and the recovery is set to take a year or more. Many people are still displaced. The Service Committee wanted to raise funds to help with the immediate need for support.
