Enduro Mountain Bike Success
Year 12 Student Cooper Millwood is another mountain biker achieving great success in his chosen discipline.

Cooper is a member of the Yeti NZ Enduro team. Enduro riding is a relatively new discipline where riders are timed on downhill runs over a variety of terrain and must then ride back to the top for their next run.

Cooper competed in the Capital Enduro in Wellington in February where he placed second in the U17 Male category. He then backed that up competing locally in the Crankworx Summer Series here in Alexandra where he placed 2nd overall, behind ex student Bradley Harris who competes in the Enduro World Series. Cooper also took out the U17 category.  A superb result from Cooper.

Cooper then headed north to Nelson to compete in the first ever National MTB Enduro Champs at Cable Bay. It is here that Cooper raced in the U17 Male category and came in 1st to claim his first national title.

Cooper is currently competing in the Trans NZ Enduro Series travelling the South Island and racing in a number of locations. Our congratulations go to Cooper for the hard work training on the bike and his awesome success.
