We are a friendly, well-established bookkeeping business that supports small businesses across Central Otago. We are looking for high school student who is keen to learn, motivated, reliable, organised, a little tech savy (pro AI), enjoys helping others, and wants to gain real-world work experience.
This is a supportive role, helping with simple admin tasks and keeping things organised. You’ll be working alongside the Owner and getting hands-on experience in how a small business operates. No experience needed, although some knowledge in computer systems, outlook, AI and Accounting fundamentals would help.
What you’ll be doing:
General Admin Tasks
Email & Inbox support
Light customer and staff contact
Appointments and scheduling
Providing simple bookkeeping support
Assisting in systemising office and bookkeeping systems
Location: Alexandra
Hours: Casual, starting at 2 hours per week and building up to 4-8
Reporting to: Business Owner
