Language Learning Comes to Life
Our Year 10 French students have put their language skills and creative talents to the test by designing their very own ideal model villages!
Today was presentation day, and the classroom was transformed into a bustling showcase of mini-towns. Students proudly displayed their 3D creations while guiding their classmates and teachers through their ideal villages—entirely in French.
Key highlights from the presentation day included:
Creative Architecture & Town Planning: Students built everything from traditional French villages to modern eco-towns, complete with local bakeries, cafes, green spaces, and historical landmarks.
Spoken Fluency in Action: Practicing descriptive language, directional vocabulary, and sentence structures as they presented their town layouts out loud.
Interactive Learning: An immersive exhibition where students listened to peer presentations, asked questions in French, and celebrated each other's hard work.
It was a wonderful example of hands-on learning, blending artistic design with practical language application and public speaking.
Bravo tout le monde! Congratulations to all of our Year 10 students for their creativity, effort, and impressive language skills!
