Coleridge Downs is a large-scale, progressive farming business located in the Rakaia Gorge in Mid Canterbury.

Each year, the farm proudly trains and mentors eight farm cadets, providing valuable opportunities for young people to gain practical experience and pursue a career in the agriculture industry.

The 2027 intake will include Year 13 Primary Industries student Georgia Gillespie, who has been selected as one of the new cadets and is the only successful candidate from the South Island.

This is a fantastic achievement and a wonderful opportunity for Georgia to further develop her skills and knowledge within the agricultural industry.
