Dunstan High School had two teams entered into the Palmerston Inter School Equestrian Competition.

Unfortunately due to COVID the dates were moved back, resulting in four of our riders not being able to compete, therefore sending one composite team.

DHS riders had some fabulous results, Kaylee Hallberg Year 10 and Sky Sanders Year 9 were both placed 2nd in their classes for Show Jumping. Kaylee was placed 2nd in her Dressage Class and Sky was placed 4th.  The team was placed 3rd overall in Turn Out, 2nd overall in Dressage, 2nd Overall in Show Jumping and winning the Top Inter Schools, School Shield for 2021.

Well done to Ruby, Kaylee, Sky, Courtney and Lilly and your horses.

Sports under COVID restrictions have made competitions challenging and we would like to thank those who put in the hours to keep these events running whilst social distancing.

That same weekend Dunstan also had three riders go the the Southland Pony Club ODE/Interschool Event, Maddi Harrex Year 12, Chanel Hack Year 9 and Annajhay Waldron Year 9, with Maddi going double clear in her jumping phases finishing with a live score.

Well done Maddi and also to Annajhay who was placed 2nd in her 95 ODE class, a great result!

A great weekend was had by all!
