Ruie Hyslop - Athletics
This year, Ruie achieved his first wins at the Otago Secondary Schools Athletic Championships for the 1500m and the 3000m long distance running and then went on to race at the South Island Champs.
Ruie also came 1st in the Otago Secondary Schools Cross Country Campaign in May. This year, Ruie has also made it into the Dunstan Football team and the Central Otago Under 14 Football team.
Things Ruie would like to achieve would be:
- To get better at his running and hopefully make it to the national stage and compete at that high level.
- Improve his skills in Football.
