The girls hockey team finished 9th at the Audrey Timlins Tournament in Christchurch.

After two close pool games leaving them in the bottom half of the competition, they made sure they finished in style winning all of their play off games including a 6-nil win in their final game.

The midfield was awesome throughout the week with both their defence and setting up attack. The team had only come together for the tournament as they play in a mixed competition and the pre tournament games didn't go ahead. The girls got better as the week progressed. It was great seeing them outplay teams that had played together for the entire season.

A huge thank you to Michele Airey (Manager), Sally Mullally (Coach) and parent helpers Bridget Scott and Paula Penno for taking the girls away.
