I have spent the last term at KidsFirst Kindergarten, which consisted of going to the Kindergarten every Thursday to help and teach kids between the ages of 2-5. 

I have learnt so much from the time that I have been there, and it really showed me how much effort teachers and kindergarten teachers put in and how creative they are. Since being at the kindy I have grown more patient and now better understand little kids. A highlight of my work placement at the kindy is teaching the kids how to spell their names, learn their ABCs and help them create their own crafts. I have really appreciated the effort Kylee, Kaylene, Jeanine, Darcy and Gayle have put into helping me feel supported and welcomed in figuring out what I would like to do when I finish school. They provided me with encouragement and independence while I was at the kindergarten and helped me understand the job to its full potential. 

I have valued my time doing work experience; it has helped me grow and taught me life-long skills about patience and creativity.
