Otago Secondary Schools Netball Championships
Otago Secondary Schools Netball Championships
Congratulations to our Netball teams who went to Dunedin this week for the Otago Secondary Schools Championships.

Results-wise we did really well:
Senior A = 9th (they suffered the curse of a tough pool, but had some great wins on Monday)
Senior B = 2nd (they had an incredible tournament, which included a come-from-behind win over Columba Senior B, a draw and a convincing semi-final win).
10A = 9th (they had a tough first day, but got better and better every game, and won both games in their playoffs).
9A = 4th (they had an incredible tournament - it was the first tournament experience for these girls, and after 2 comprehensive victories they had a nail biter semi-final and a solid last game. They'll only get better and better).

A huge thank you to our umpires Kim Whipp, Grace Moir and Isla Redgrave who were rock solid with the whistle and gained huge amounts of skill and experience. And a massive congratulations to Neleah Manderson who gained her zone practical award for umpiring while at the tournament!
It was a brilliant tournament and we are super proud of you all.
